I've only seen pictures of the 712 AP2s but I'd assume that they are pretty close, as to thinner top lines and the like I can't say as I haven't seen them in person or compared them side by side.
Anonymous user AP2 is one of the best Titleist irons ever, cruel ball hit, solid feel and control. Allowed to control the ball. If you have not tried it, do it. Really enjoy this purchase
